Generally a very mild sensation at the site of the needle is all that is felt. For some chronic pain conditions patients will feel a slight twitching in the muscle being released.

| How many
treatments will I need? Most patients require a minimum of 4 acupuncture treatment before a determination can be made as to the effectiveness of the treatments. Ideally treatment are usually given twice per week for 3-4 consecutive weeks. You should plan on receiving anywhere from 4 to 12 treatments.

| After the treatment After
being treated most people feel very calm and relaxed. It is recommended that you apply heat to the region for 20 minutes one time
per day for 2 days.
